Originally released in 1990 as one of the first lightweight, clip-carried knives, the Endura has evolved across four generations into a world-renowned cutting tool relied on by professionals, outdoorsmen, and everyday users alike.

Modern Endura 4 Lightweight models are built using tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handles with Spyderco’s high-traction Bi-Directional Texture™, delivering a secure grip in all conditions. Inside the handle are nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners, providing strength and rigidity while keeping weight to a minimum. A dependable back lock mechanism ensures secure lockup, and the fully ambidextrous four-position pocket clip allows left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.

The Endura’s VG-10 stainless steel blade is saber-ground for excellent cutting performance and durability. Depending on your needs, you can choose from PlainEdge™, CombinationEdge™, or SpyderEdge™ configurations. Users who prefer a darker, non-reflective aesthetic can select the TiCN (titanium carbonitride) black-coated blade, available on select models.
