The Spyderco ARK (“Always Ready Knife”) is a compact fixed-blade designed by veteran knifemaker John Shirley (with input from Sam Owens) and produced by Spyderco in Japan. The intent was to create a self-defense tool that is ultra-lightweight, corrosion-resistant and carryable anywhere. 
Its curved clip-point blade packs a surprising amount of cutting power in a minimal envelope. The handle is molded FRN with a Bi-Directional Texturing™ pattern for excellent grip even when wet. The sheath is a low-profile molded polymer neck sheath with a break-away ball chain for universal carry.
